As a leader, entrepreneur, sales and business development professional, Dave’s personal challenge has been to create or be a part of an organization that allows him to capitalize on the next generation of collaborative technology innovation. He brings 25+ years in the high tech industry to his quest along with high energy, focus, intensity, social intelligence and the perseverance to generate success.

Dave’s current challenge is driving Global Alliances and Strategic Partnerships for Mobiquity while concurrently driving over $3M USD in additional revenue.  Mobiquity acquired KMDM in 2011, founded by Dave in 2009, to extend it’s fast growing VC backed business.   His expertise is in providing strategic business development and sales to the Global 2000 in the areas of mobile/Cloud/IoT/Security to deliver value throughout the enterprise.  Prior roles at Mobiquity included leading key account teams responsible for driving solution delivery and business development as well as leading the delivery team, project management and QA/Testing up to 100 people.

Prior to the acquisition of KMDM by Mobiquity, a leader in mobile applications and communications software development, he had been advising start-ups that include Perot Systems Time0 Group (IPO 2008), AisleBuyer (acquired by Intuit 2012).

KMDM continues to advise and counsel investments while looking at new opportunities to create health, business or social value. Of particular interest are companies focused on mobile technology in health/fitness, enterprise services, disruptive marketplaces, and business services.

Past and present advisor roles have included the following companies – SmartDiiet LLC, Apptient (formerly Marlin Mobile), BetrSpot (actively in market), MyMobileBrand (patent awarded 2014), Tapwalk (acquired 2016), Relational IT (actively in market)

Prior to KMDM he was managing an IT process improvement practice for BMG, Inc. where he led the N. American operations for key industry segments and also open their European operations.

Through 2002 Dave was as Chief Operating Officer of Viridien Technologies, Inc. Viridien was a $25m profitable ‘Next Generation eTechnology’ firm driving the convergence of internet solutions, emerging networks, and mobile devices to enterprise clients for unparalleled collaboration and productivity. There he was responsible for leading the Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Delivery teams of Viridien’s 120 employees. Dave worked directly with Viridien’s marquee and most innovative clients, developing business and extending capabilities ranging from desktop interfaces to the wireless internet for large enterprises.

Prior to joining Viridien, Dave consulted to Perot Systems Time0 engineering group responsible for providing sophisticated internet market-maker solutions to the firm’s clientele world-wide. He supported the IPO preparation of Perot for one of the strongest IPO’s of 1998 by assisting with operational, staffing, and corporate integration strategies alongside a world-class leadership team.

Before taking on the role at Perot Systems, Mr. Micalizzi was the Director then subsequently VP of Sullivan and Cogliano’s Software and Information Technology Consulting Company. In these roles, he was responsible for the P&L including Sales, Marketing, and the technical teams. Apart from the Software and IT Consulting Company, Dave developed two start-ups within S&C in 1996, one in the eSolutions space and the other in the networking industry. This company supported network design and rollout for enterprises. The second company, called the S&C Solutions Consulting Group was an early market entrant web development organization that turned a profit its first month of full operation.

Lastly, while at Sullivan and Cogliano, Dave created a model office with templates and plug-in processes to open consulting offices successfully in Chicago, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Most of Dave’s responsibilities kept him directly involved with customers and solutions from initial sales through to closed and delivered business.

He began his career in the consulting industry as a technical recruiter and transitioned into account management and high level project consulting and management for KENDA Systems. He was recognized annually for company individual performance awards and put in a management development ‘fast track’ for future growth. Additionally, Dave worked for IBM and Nynex in a consulting capacity where he gained an understanding of large corporations’ operations and needs.
